El primer cuerpo esta almohadillado a diferencia de los cuerpos superiores que son lisos, con grandes ventanales rectangulares y balaustres de hierro. El edificio se completa con un amplio front\u00f3n en cuyo perfil se incluye el ancla, s\u00edmbolo del Consulado.<\/strong><br><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;En la actualidad el edificio depende de la Diputaci\u00f3n de Burgos y conviven en su interior una Sala de Exposiciones, la Escuela de Dibujo, la Biblioteca Provincial de Burgos y la Real Academia Burgense de Historia y Bellas Artes (Instituci\u00f3n Fern\u00e1n Gonz\u00e1lez).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube
