Se exponen 18 retablos correspondientes a los siglos XVI, XVII y XVIII. De acuerdo con la funci\u00f3n catequ\u00e9tica del retablo, la din\u00e1mica de la muestra es la siguiente: en la nave central de la iglesia, se traza la l\u00ednea simb\u00f3lica del camino martirial del cristiano y, en las naves laterales, se desarrolla el misterio de Cristo y de Mar\u00eda.<\/strong><br><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;En el coro de la iglesia, se exhiben importantes piezas de orfebrer\u00eda, fundamentalmente cruces (siglos X-XVIII), c\u00e1lices (siglos XV-XVIII) y p\u00edxides (siglo XV), todo ello presidido por un magn\u00edfico tr\u00edptico flamenco del siglo XVI obra de Ambrosius Benson procedente de la iglesia de San Cosme y San Dami\u00e1n de la capital burgalesa.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr
